Services
A defined process, in three stages
Our service is structured so that both sides know what happens, in what order, and where our role ends. Scope and terms are confirmed in writing before any work begins.
Discovery
We start from what is publicly on record: distributor recruitment notices, channel announcements, product ranges, and territory coverage published by the companies themselves.
What we do
- Monitor publicly available distributor-recruitment notices and sales-channel announcements in the industrial and measurement equipment sectors.
- Research candidate distributors (or manufacturers) against your product range, markets, and service requirements.
- Check for obvious product overlap and channel conflicts that would make a pairing unworkable.
- Deliver a shortlist in which every candidate is accompanied by the reasons for the fit and the published sources behind them.
What you receive
A documented shortlist you can verify independently — company profiles, the basis for each recommendation, and any concerns or unknowns flagged openly rather than smoothed over.
Introduction
A shortlist only matters if the other side is willing to talk. We test that willingness before asking anyone to commit time.
What we do
- With your prior approval, contact shortlisted companies to present the opportunity and ask whether they are open to a direct introduction. We clearly identify our role as an independent research and introduction service.
- Present the opportunity accurately and in writing — what the products are, which territory is involved, and what kind of partnership is being sought.
- Confirm each company's level of interest, and pass on questions or conditions they raise.
- Arrange a direct introduction between the parties once interest is confirmed on both sides.
What you receive
A clear record of which candidates have expressed interest, declined, or not responded, together with any reasons they provide. Direct introductions are arranged only when both parties agree.
Coordination
After the introduction, the conversation belongs to the two parties. We stay in a supporting role while discussions get under way.
What we do
- Support the exchange of basic information — company profiles, product documentation, territory details — so first discussions are productive.
- Keep track of progress through the early stages and follow up at agreed intervals when communication stalls.
- Report status to our client honestly, including where a discussion has stalled or ended.
Where our role ends
Commercial discussions — including pricing, margins, exclusivity, and contract terms — are conducted directly between the manufacturer and the distributor. We do not participate in negotiating or agreeing those terms, and we do not advise either party on the terms of any agreement.
Clear boundaries
What we do not do
These limits are part of the service design. They keep our role unambiguous for both sides of every introduction.
- We do not negotiate commercial terms on behalf of either party.
- We do not sign contracts for either party, negotiate or agree commercial terms on their behalf, or have authority to bind either party to an agreement.
- We do not receive, hold, or forward payments that belong to either party. Our own fees are agreed with our client in writing, in advance.
- We do not guarantee product performance, regulatory compliance, candidate responses, successful introductions, or the outcome of any business discussion or commercial agreement.
- We do not provide legal, tax, or regulatory advice.
Our role is limited to research and introduction support. All decisions, negotiations, and agreements are made directly by the parties involved.
Start with the Discovery stage
Every engagement begins with research. Tell us the products and the territories, and we will tell you what the public record shows.
